'Appliqué and Roses' shows how to create endlessly variable vine and flower patterns without the bother ( or waste of time) of having to mark designs on fabric. The fabric off-cuts which the process generates create a second design which can look completely different from the first. Designs are suitable for both blocks and borders and can be made in any size to suit any project. There are three different techniques explained here.. (1) creating vines, (2) 2 for 1 background patterns, (3) Discover a unique way of generating multiple 3 D roses and leaves at once. These techniques can be combined or used alone. No special artistic expertise required for beautiful results. Suitable for beginners. Spiral bound to lay flat while open. Copyright 1995.
